General Conference is a week behind the States here on this side of the date line, so we won’t be able to watch it till next weekend. So today we attended our assigned Branch for the first time. It was a great experience. The members were excited to greet us. Their testimonies were wonderful even though we only understood part of them as they spoke in a combination of English and Togolic. But we felt of their love for the Gospel, and our Father in Heaven, and their desire to learn all they can about the Church.  Our chapel is about 30 minutes away, but the drive is through the countryside, with rice fields and farms. Reminded us of home, with the West Warren farms.

We are looking forward to getting to know the new Apostles and to hear them speak.
